Before you ask me how to make kimchi, I’ll tell you the kimchi wasn’t made by me.  A friend whom is also a Winnipeg based foodie was given to me.  Her husband is crazy about Korean food. As soon as he knows that I enjoy Korean foods, he shared his homemade kimchi.

Indeed this kimchi has better taste than the one that I often buy at stores. This spicy kimchi was perfect for my stuffy nose at that time. Remember, these two photos were taken on January 2011.
